Our wide range of climbing experiences for Kids
Our awesome walls offer a wide range of challenges with something to suit everyone – whether you usually like to keep your feet on the ground, or love to push yourself. Ranging in difficulty from Level 1 to Level 5, our challenges range from Cloud 9 – the perfect entry point for beginners – through to the legendary Dry Ice which calls for skills similar to those used in real ice climbing.
Enjoy climbing whatever the weather
Indoor climbing can be enjoyed whatever the weather, making it the ideal wet weather activity, or a great way to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays. We believe that it’s impossible to get bored at Clip ‘n Climb Ilkley and thanks to the range of challenges with their different shapes, colours and textures, action packed climbing is available all year round.
Our climbing walls are suitable for children aged just 2.5 years and above which means that Clip ‘n Climb Ilkley is ideal for families with children, toddler groups, schools and clubs for children. Full training and a safety talk is given on arrival; all children are securely strapped into harnesses by our experienced staff who will be on hand to help whilst climbing takes place. No special kit or equipment is required to enjoy indoor climbing – just loose, comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes.
Kids’s climbing wall parties
The perfect place for your child to celebrate their birthday in a fun-packed environment they’ll love, an indoor climbing party is unique and a little bit different. Party guests will enjoy an hour of climbing in the arena, with plenty of time to try all the challenges on offer, followed by a delicious party feast in our café.
