Our indoor arena offers exhilarating, fun, safe climbing experiences for all ages, with 21 agility-testing individual and multi-climber challenges of varying design and difficulty, testing agility and courage in different ways.

Climbers are connected via the BelayMate, which is a tamper-proof system ensuring 100% secure connection to the Auto Belay line before climbers commence their climb.
If old enough, the climber can connect themselves, to be in control of their own climbing experience. Do not worry, with the BelayMate system you cannot clip in wrong, so once clipped in they are safe to climb. And our staff are here to help at anytime.
If your child cannot clip themselves in then one adult is allowed to stay in the arena to help them, but we do have staff in the arena to clip them in and out, so why not have a nice coffee or tea in our cafe.
Our parties give the birthday child a fabulous experience. We make our own pizza dough for the best-tasting pizzas or you can have local butcher sausage in soft hotdog rolls, or most people go for a mixture of both! Served with a finger salad, crisps and unlimited squash and followed by an ice-lolly. You bring the birthday child, the birthday cake and invite the friends and we will do the rest.
After the climb, they are always ready for party food! We can also put on the disco lights for part of the climb if desired.
We also offer after-school parties so your child can have their party on their actual birthday!!
Our parties are 1 hour in the arena climbing and 30-40 minutes of party food in our cafe.

TOTS Climbs are a great introduction to climbing for your little ones. Tots can climb from the age of 2½ to 6 years in this shorter session. Session numbers are reduced, so that they are not overpowered by lots of people.
Tots Climbs run every Saturday and Sunday at 9.30am.
In the holidays they run most days, usually at 9.30am.
In term-time times vary so please check the booking system.
It is important to arrive 20 minutes before your time for check-in, harnessing and safety briefing
Feel free to bring your own little teddy or borrow one of ours and play “Rescue the Teddy”.
Parent/guardian must always remain with their child in the arena and will be clipping their child on and off the wall.
It is not possible to accommodate younger children or babies in the arena, due to insurance reasons.
Our café is open for drinks and snacks, and can offer toys and colouring to keep them entertained.
We have a highchair and baby changing unit.

Clip ’n Climb Ilkley can provide your students with healthy physical exercise promoting strength, balance, flexibility and coordination. Staff Night Out: Bring a group of work colleagues for a weekday climb. A fun way to socialise after work. Our café serves a selection of food and drink.
Team building: Bring a group of staff to enjoy the icebreaker of climbing with facilities for meetings and a selection of food and drink, as required.
You are welcome to book a group of friends for a climbing session. For small groups simply book the correct number of climbers in on our booking system. For larger groups, we can book you in as a group, so give us a call or drop us an email.

We are a popular choice for Scouting and Guiding groups. From Beavers and Rainbows up to Explorers, climbing is proven to have many benefits: not only does it get children physically active; it also requires problem solving; lateral thinking and is a brilliant activity to help build confidence; get children to challenge themselves; learn new skills and feel/explore a range of emotions and how to deal with them.
Some Scouts and Guides have even made their promises up the wall to make it a truly memorable occasion. It might even earn you a badge to add to your other activity badges.
Sometimes Leaders decide to have their planning meeting in the cafe overlooking the arena.
And easy access with a car park and train line literally 50 steps away. Parents can stay and watch from our cafe too.
